Not a hotel.
Never wanted to be.
Willow Inn is a nine-room guesthouse on Augusta Street in Sonheuwel — a quiet, established neighbourhood in Nelspruit, five minutes from the city centre and thirty minutes from Kruger National Park.
We opened in May 2025, taking over a property with a long history of hospitality and breathing new life into it. The building was sound. The garden had been loved for years. We kept what worked and made the rest our own.
The name Willow Inn was chosen with care. A willow is a posture — a shelter, a place of quiet and resilience. That is what we wanted this place to offer. Not a resort. Not a lodge. A guesthouse where guests feel genuinely welcomed, genuinely rested, and genuinely cared for.
Our on-site manager lives at the property and knows every guest by name. The garden does most of the welcoming before anyone says a word.
